Elliott, Jonny

Jonny’s more than two-decade career in technology began in 2002 when he took a job at The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) as a web developer. From there, he’s worked at several other companies, including ICONI Software, Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, as well as Philips Healthcare. Over the years, Jonny gained a strong understanding of the technology landscape, from web and database development to analytics and product development, before joining Toyota Racing Development (TRD) in April of 2015 as a Principal Project Manager.

Today, as TRD’s Chief Information Officer, Jonny collaborates closely with other technology leaders at Toyota, fostering joint projects, and participating in technology-focused events and conferences. Jonny spearheaded TRD Connect, the intranet app connecting everything and everyone TRD. He also works closely on projects with Toyota Connected, Toyota’s cloud-based digital Connected Mobility Intelligence Platform. Jonny continues to remain at the forefront of every technological innovation within Toyota.

Jonny's dedication to excellence extends beyond the professional realm, as he balances his career with personal commitments. Originally from Northern Ireland, Jonny relocated to America a decade ago, where he now resides in Southern California with his wife and two children.
